PLEASE NOTE: the following only applies when a driver has accepted his tour and remains logged in during the entire tour. Make sure that the device is charged during the entire tour.
When a driver send GPS updates, but has a score of around 4-6 points, take the following steps:
Android only: 3 steps
1. Turn on location/GPS ANDROID
- Open the phone settings
- Open 'applications'/'apps
- Find App2Track in the list
- Go to 'Rights'/'permissions and 'location'
- Give permission for location and storage
- Set location to 'Always on'
2. Permission to location
- Open your phone settings
- Open 'Apps' or 'Applications'
- Search for App2Track in the list
- Go to 'mobile data'/'data'
- Allow background data and unlimited data usage both
- Give permission to use Location and Storage
3. Battery settings
If App2Track is automatically logged off, for Android phones this may be due to the setting about battery optimization, this should be off for App2Track.
- Open your phone settings
- Click on 'Battery / Battery', click on 'Battery optimization'.
- You will now see a list of apps, App2Track should be among them.
If not: Click on the button 'Apps not optimized' at the top of this screen.
Click on 'All apps'.
You will now see a list of apps, search for App2Track
Battery optimization must be OFF for App2Track

Apple iPhone: 2 steps
For iPhone it is important to check the steps below. This could be the solution to the GPS problem.
1. Location on
- Open your phone settings
- Go to 'Privacy'
- Turn on the 'Location services'
2. Permission to location
- Search for "App2Track" in the app list below
- Allow access to location 'Always' (this will prevent the GPS from dropping out on the road)
