Do you lose GPS at a border crossing? This can be due to the following reasons:
1. Roaming is disabled
When roaming is disabled, you will lose internet connection when crossing a border. As a result, App2Track will not work. Roaming must be on to have an internet connection when you are abroad. This does not involve any extra costs, because all providers within Europe charge standard rates.
Roaming can be enabled through the phone settings as follows: Settings- Connections- Mobile Networks.
Is the above not the cause? Then losing GPS can have the following causes:
1. Power saving mode is switched on
The corresponding image is as follows: the driver will be logged off in the background and has to logg in again during his tour. To deactivate this mode, check the GPS settings of the device.
2. The phone or App2Track is switched off
When the phone or App2Track is switched off, GPS updates are not sent. Therefore, always turn App2Track on while driving and make sure the app runs in the foreground.
